Best Bugs Forever is a French-German-British-American animated series created by Stuart Gibson and Nathan Peter Wong, and directed by Jean-Paul Guigue and Yann Provost. It has been broadcast in France and Germany.
Plot[]
Three bug friends are in a new city, a rundown motel, but from a bug's point of view, a beautiful metropolis with a 1950's vibe where they will go on exciting adventures and build friendships all while the humans living in the motel are unaware of them.
Why It Rocks[]
- Impressively creative, beautiful, and colorful animation and art style, which is one of if not the best by a French cartoon.
- The green and leafy backgrounds are just beautiful.
- Decent jokes.
- Likeable characters such as Mo, Louie, and Wilberforce.
- Excellent writing, some episodes even get some of the guys who wrote some episodes of The Amazing World of Gumball.
- Many episodes contain heartwarming moments and morals which the viewers can learn from, (unlike most modern cartoons)
- The idea of bugs that live in a city that is really inside of a human hotel is very creative.
- Several hilarious, awesome, and memorable episodes such as:
- Armour Plated Louse (which started the series on a high note)
- The Fake Over
- Falling For You
- Out of Sight
- The show feels like a much better version of The Buzz on Maggie, which is kind of funny because they both came from Disney Channel.
Bad Qualities[]
- Some unlikable characters, such as Eddie (depending on your view) and Pebbledash the spoiled, bratty, selfish, stuck-up girl who cares only about herself and her looks and not anyone else.
- Some episodes can be extremeley boring.
