Black Cat Detective is a Chinese animated television series produced by the Shanghai Animation Film Studio. It is sometimes known as Mr. Black. The main character, Black Cat Detective, was created by Zhu Zhixiang (诸志祥).
Why It Rocks[]
- The animation are awesome and good, along to Tom and Jerry.
- The story is about the detective Mr. Black Cat traveling around on his motorcycle and solving a variety of tough cases. He was a spectacular detective and solved many cases, punished many criminals and protected residents of the forest. "Black Cat Detective I" was first shown on TV in 1984 in five episodes.
- The music are good.

Bad Qualities[]
- The show had graphic violence (such as grasshoppers getting cut in half and innocent forest creatures getting murdered or burned), unlike the harmless "cartoon violence" of Tom & Jerry, which is traumatizing and unappealing to kids, especially in the woods. When criminal violence was rising up.
