Krazy Kat (1963)

And now, everyone loves the REAL Krazy Kat, not the Columbia Pictures male-like stupid one.

Krazy Kat is an American animated television series based on the comic strip series and cartoon character of the same name by George Herriman. It was produced and animated by Rembrandt Films for first-run syndication through King Features Syndicate TV.

Why It Rocks[]

  1. After almost 20 years, Krazy Kat finally returned to her career, as she returned to the screen, after 22 years.
  2. It could be the very first Krazy Kat cartoon, ever filmed IN LIVING COLOR!
  3. The character design for this series, was clearly faithful to original classic comic strips.
  4. It was a big improvement over the Gene Deitch era of Tom and Jerry (1961-1962).
  5. Great voice acting.
  6. Unlike the Popeye TV series, which was aired on a major broadcast TV network, the Krazy Kat cartoon show was amazingly aired in the first-run syndication.
  7. Stylized animation is much more perfect than the Gene Deitch Tom and Jerry cartoons, as well as the Gene Deitch Popeye cartoons.
  8. The sound effects was totally quirky and extremely funny.
  9. The backgrounds for this series looks the same, as the Krazy Kat comic strip.

Bad Qualities[]

  1. Sometimes, Ignatz Mouse can be very annoying and extremely rude.
  2. Krazy was changed from black to blue and from being someone with no clear gender and constant switching of pronouns to a girl.
