Pucca (짜장소녀 뿌까, Jjajang Sonyeo Ppukka), is an animated slapstick comedy television series based on a series of shorts created by the South Korean company VOOZ Character System. The series revolves around Pucca, a young girl who is in love and obsessed with a young ninja boy named Garu. It was aired on Jetix from 2006 to 2008.

The series centers around the adventures of an 11-year-old girl named Pucca, who lives in a town called Sooga Village. Her love interest is a 12-year-old ninja named Garu, who owns a cat. Her uncles work in the local restaurant called the Goh-Rong, whose main dish is Jajangmyeon noodles. Then, there's her best friend Ching, who is the same age and is in love with a boy named Abyo, who likes Kung-Fu a lot and is interested in girls.
Why It Rocks[]
- Being based on the shorts by VOOZ, it manages to be faithful to its source material.
- The antics between Pucca trying to get Garu to love her is a joy to watch.
- There is lots of zany action and Tex Avery-style slapstick humor.
- Some of the songs are quite good, especially the intro song.
- The voice acting is quite decent.
- It was cartoonier, wackier and more slapsticky than Pucca Funny Love.
- It doesn’t lack in funny moments, not even in the slightest.
- The settings in some of the episodes take place in different locations around the world.
- Most of the characters are very funny, likable and clever.
- Fluid animation that is true to the VOOZ shorts.
