Wow Wow Wubbzy! is an animated children's show aimed for preschoolers made by Bob Boyle (the person who also created Yin Yang Yo!). It ran from August 28, 2006 to February 21st, 2010.

Why It Rocks

  1. Cutesy theme song.
  2. Talented voice acting by Grey DeLisle, Carlos Alazraqui, Lara Jill Miller, Tara Strong, and more.
  3. Likeable characters, especially four main protagonists. Wubbzy (the yellow gerbil), Daizy (the turquoise dog), Widget (the pink rabbit) and Walden (the purple wombat).
  4. Good lessons, like "don't lie" and more.
  5. Despite being a preschool-oriented programs, it aimed to older kids. Due to being a wacky slapstick comedy cartoon show, it nearly feels like a Nickelodeon show.
  6. Original stories, such as Wubbzy, Widget, and Walden visiting Dino Island.
  7. Huggable animation.
  8. Cute and adorable characters designs, especially for Wubbzy and Daizy.
  9. Beyoncé appeared in this and had a pretty decent role as Shine, a member of the Wubb Girlz.
  10. It gets better in season 2, mainly due to Wubbzy's romance with Daizy.
  11. Memorable catchphrases like “That’s Kooky!!”
  12. It shares many similarities with SpongeBob SquarePants and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse with The Powerpuff Girls. For example, the main characters' personalities and the plot of each episodes are similar to that of Spongebob, Sandy, Squidward, Pearl, and Spongebob seasons 1-4, 9-present, while the Wubb Club and the Jukebox Robot are similar to that of the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Toodles.
  13. Teaches kids a lot of good morals like, be yourself, dont lie, tell the truth, and much more.

Bad Qualities

  1. It ended after two seasons, making it somewhat short-lived. No revival of the series has been made.
    • It went on a hiatus too many times, for three months (sometimes one month), which is one of the few main reasons why the show got cancelled.
  2. Wubbzy's catchphrase, "Wow!" can get a bit irritating after a while.
  3. Some songs are overplayed, like this one and this one.
  4. While the voice acting is very good for most of the dubs, the Arabic Dub was not well received.
